This is an amazing place to go to the dentist. Due to other dentist out there I’ve always been terrified. ECU dentist make sure that they explain everything they’re gonna do before they do it. They have helped me with my fear of dentist. Due to their patience, and amazing work. Everyone needs to be going here.

A complete waste of time, money, and trust* I spent over 2 years as a patient here. 2 hours of travel time each visit, thousands of dollars, all thrown away because a student refused to maintain a treatment plan that had already been established. When I brought this to the supervisor’s attention, the response I got was basically “oh well” — while standing there with their hand out. Zero accountability from staff or management. Absolutely disgusting. Patients deserve better than being treated like practice cases with no follow-through. I cannot recommend ECU Dental School to anyone who values their time, money, or health.

My husband and I have been attending the ECU School of Dental Medicine for the past six months. We have experienced exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail The most important aspect has been follow up on treatment. We both felt very safe when we found ourselves getting phone calls the days following our procedures, checking on our well being. I highly recommend this practice, and would like to recognise Professor Worm, Dalia, and Andre.

If I could give them a zero, I would, they made four more times after the initial appointment for them to give me an estimated higher thant a private dentist, then for one of the overseeing dentist telling me I couldn't get in their program, to go somewhere else and treated me ugly (I do not like to play the race card, but I feel my race was a factor here) so, I never came back, until they announced a program for veterans, my husband is, and we went, he went back and forth and they never did fix anything. So, he never returned there either.

I’ve had all my dental needs taken care of by the dental students and faculty for the past ten years. The bright young people in the school are fantastic, well-qualified senior students. I’ve enjoyed male and female students of several nationalities and races. I’ve had a bridge, four or five crowns and two implants done all with excellent results. Highly recommended!
